Privacy policy

What data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Who we are

Dr.Menu (dr-menu.com) is a digital menu and ordering service for restaurants and cafés. Here "restaurant" means the account holder and "guest" means anyone opening a menu.

What we collect

  • From restaurants: name, email and phone number, menu content and photos, and subscription and payment details.
  • From guests when ordering: name and phone, the address for delivery only, and notes. These reach the restaurant you ordered from so it can prepare your order.
  • Visit statistics: number of visits, device type and language. We do not store IP addresses; they are turned into a one-way code that changes every day.
  • Ratings: what you write when rating a restaurant, and a contact if you choose to leave one.

How we use it

To provide the service: showing menus, passing orders to restaurants, and sending subscription notices and reports. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Cookies

Menu pages use no tracking cookies. The dashboard uses sign-in cookies only. Your browser keeps your cart and dark-mode choice on your device.

Security and retention

Data is kept on servers with daily backups, over encrypted connections. Orders and statistics are kept while the restaurant's account exists, and the restaurant can ask for them to be deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by contacting us. If you ordered from a restaurant, you can also contact that restaurant.
